Basque climber Álex Txikon, Pakistani climber M.Ali Sadpara and five Nepali sherpas are at camp 2 (6400 meters). The last update from Alex is that they are at camp 2 for the sake of acclimatization and summit preparedness. The weather is also showing some abnormalities, the wind speed could increase slightly. It would be really critical for the expedition if weather remains uncertain, prior leaving to camp 2 Alex said this would be the last and final attempt in winter towards Everest top.
“Here we continue in Camp 2 acclimating and preheating engines to give the green light to the assault. Today we will rest at 6400 meters and from here, we send you a magical night of stars.”
