Cycling on the roof of Wolrd

The four Swiss cyclists (Heinz Egli, Fritz Gross, Marco Foehn, and Rudolf Niggli Johnannes) reached back at Sost last day after cycling up to  Khunjrab pass.

The pictures below shows part of the journey through the KKH and Khunjrab Pass. The cyclists passed through the famous Passu Cones, the Attabad Lake, Hunza, Khunjrab National Park and Khunjrab Pass and finally ends at Sost last day.

Over half of the park is above 4,000 metres. Khunjerab Pass, the gateway to China via the Karakoram Highway, is at 4,934 metres.

Khunjrab National Park provides the habitat for a number of endangered and threatened species like the snow leopard, Marco Polo sheep, and Himalayan ibex, Siberian ibex, widely distributed and abundant in the park.  The highest density of Snow Leopard in Pakistan may also reside here.
